  • This car started as a 2002 Porsche 911 Carrera that underwent a complete GT3 Class Cup Car Conversion. It has a 997 3.6L bored to 4.0L motor making 400HP on 101 race fuel almost brand new with only 10 hours of track time. It is a track car so hours on the car since rebuild is what matters. I entered a mileage to the listing only because requires it.

The car is SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT between 2300-2500lbs depending on driver and fuel. This car is very fast and it has held track records at many tracks in Southern California with previous driver.
Dan Aspesi who is the owner of The Speed Gallery in Hollywood CA was the previous owner of the car. He built the car for one of his wealthy clients. The previous owner accidentally over-revved it and blew the motor. He claimed it on his insurance so he could get the insurance money for a down payment of a newer 991 GT3 Cup Car and so the insurance branded the car as a rebuildable title because the engine replacement was $19,000. These cars are not street legal anyway so it doesn"t really matter whether it has a title or not. The car has not been in any accidents and the frame is completely straight, it was only rebuildable due to the blown motor. So Dan sent the car to Tiger Arshakuni with Tiger Motorsports in Canoga Park CA who installed the new motor which was a 3.6 L bored to 4.0L and he tuned the car. The cost for the motor build alone was $12.5K.
There is 10 hours of HPDE track days since the engine built and I had the car inspected by GI Automotive in Beverly Hills before the last track day. It is in perfect condition with no known mechanical problems (the service bill was $6K including 4 new slick tires and installation of the rear-vision racing monitor).
I also have an enclosed trailer to tow the car to the track if you are interested. I paid $6K for it brand-new and used three times.
