Top 5 Fastest FWD Naturally Aspirated cars in the US. Superstreet magazine featured car, world recognized. Owned as a daily driver. Built for racing in 2007, NASA Honda Challenge 2008-2013, ran time attack in Global Time Attack 2014-2017. Comes with NASA Logbook.
---- The Car was stripped and the SCCA/NASA approved roll cage was welded in. Then the car sprayed in Honda Odyssey Desert Rock metallic inside and out. The paint is still glossy and in fantastic shape for its age. The cabin wire harness, fuse boxes and light wiring is all original. With the exception of the driver headlight, all the lights work and will operate with the oem lever on the column. We do not have the levers on the car currently. Currently weight is 2250lbs roughly with half tank and no driver. -Note- The Car is J series engine equipped, however K series mount brackets are nearly identical. This means if you had to for rules or just wanted, you can easily swap to K series by using the new brackets in that kit with no cutting or welding, just bolt on!. ----

Drivetrain - 05 Acura TL base 6 speed transmission(3 hours track time since rebuild by Synchrotech), Operates in top condition including OEM LSD, Custom 3.8 Final drive, Clutchmasters FX400 clutch and Light flywheel(3 hours track time since new), Drive Shaft shop road race axles(3 hours track time on the axles since rebuild by DSS)
Suspension - Custom valved Eibach Multi-PRO R2 2-way dampers with Eibach ERS race springs, Hardrace Front upper camber arms, Wicked racing rear camber links, SPC rear toe links, PCi Gen 1 Trailing Arm bearings, Kingpin engineering Front LCA Compliance bearings, Aurora Spherical LCA bearings front and rear pressed into the OEM Lower Control Arms, ASR 32mm rear anti-roll bar and subframe brace, 24mm GSR front anti-roll bar. Type R 5 lug conversion(3 hours on the new hubs installed), ARP Wheel studs.
Wheels - Front: Special Order from Japan 18x9.5 +15 SSR GTX01 - Rear: 17x9 +15 SSR GTX01 - Tires: Hankook ventus z214 C51 275/35-18 Front and 245/40-17 rear with only 6 heat cycles on them. This staggered setup works very well as strange as it sounds. The car is planted and fast.
Brakes - 6 piston Calipers, Custom Wilwood 12 Superlite front brakes by Fastbrakes, Directional rotors and Raybestos race pads(3 hours on the pads and rotors since new), RSX Type S rear brake calipers and rotors with porterfield pads, JDM ITR 1 Master cylinder and booster, brand new stock civic prop valve, original civic hardlines, Goodridge braided lines to the calipers, Motul RBF 600 fluid.
Exterior - Honda Odyssey Desert rock metallic paint, NBC racing TA-1 3 pc fiberglass kevlar front end(1 of 8 kits in the US), Custom airdam and removable splitter, PCi Splitter brackets. PCi sideskirts, APR GTC-200 rear wing, APR optional end plates, APR 1.5 wing stand risers, Honda access thin moldings and window visors, custom Carbon fiber sunroof delete, VIS carbon fiber Hood with Aero Catch hood latches, Trackspec Performance heat extractors, VIS Carbon fiber Trunk, FAL 3 pc lexan window kit, Glass windshield. The rear fender lips are pie cut and flared to allow for wider wheels and then covered with J"s racing flares. The flares are removable for access. There are no bumper support crash beams.
Interior - SCCA/NASA approved roll cage, NASA Logbook, Charged and current ESS 3 zone fire system, Custom fire pull handle mount, Longacre master kill switch with custom MIL spec alternator harness, Rear mounted battery, Longacre Mirror, Momo monte carlo steering wheel, NRG quick release, RAZO pedals, OEM Honda accord plastic shifter unit and cables, Original civic dash and chassis wire harness, Password JDM Carbon tank cover, CROW window net and solid mounting with quick release. The car has NO heater unit, no windshield wipers, the doors are gutted as is everything that is not a racing necessity. There is NO driver seat, bracket and harness. You must supply your own seat and harness.
Spares - A plastic storage box will be included containing a spare starter, throttle body, coil packs and some other small items.
The Bad - 1) The Driver seat has been removed and the seat was direct mounted to the floor. The OEM seat mount brackets are no longer on the floor. You can see in the photos. Keep this in mind when you get a seat for the car that your race seat should be direct mount or you have to weld some brackets if you go another route. 2) The rear fender lips have been pie cut and flared to allow use of wider wheels so they do not rub. They are bonded and hidden underneath the J"s racing fender flares. 3) The rear FAL Lexan window has a few areas coming unglued, but can easily be fixed with windshield glue. Last, that"s it! So the car has some wear and tear from over the years but no gremlins or hidden issues here. 100% legit ready to go, what you see is what you get. AS-IS.
