1931 Pop Dreyer Sprint Car.
This is an all original condition Sprint Car that started it life with a Duesenberg Walking Beam Engine. It was removed because of a broken crankshaft, and was 4 cylinder engine. The car was one of the Kline Race Car Team built in the 1920"s. Extensive documentation exists for this car and will accompany the sale. The car was driven by Don Moore until 1952 when it was outdated and parked. It was purchased in 2008 in untouched original condition, got running and was invited and participated at the Amelia Island Concours.
The car has a 3 speed transmission, and a 240 lb 6 ft tall driver can fit into the cockpit.
These cars are getting very hard to find, and especially cars with documented history.
An opportunity like this might not come around again for along time.
Being offered at a very reasonable reserve for a car with this type of history.
Email me with questions. Car can be seen on appointment. Delivery available in Eastern US for $1.25 per loaded mile.
